May We Dance Upon Their Graves

Incest Survivors, Spirituality and Ceremonies of Justice – the story of a woman living a rich, fulfilling life while waiting to dance on her sociopath father's grave.

Perseverence continued

Skipped 2 days, did my singing practice today. Today I did it with my wife home, standing facing the door, and found it a lot easier to concentrate without getting flashbacky.

    Hi SDW,

I am not surprised this is getting so hard, you are putting a lot of things together. I’m sorry that it brings on flashbacks and is so triggering. That would be so hard for me and I understand how hard that could be for you. And yet you are doing it. I hope that you give yourself as much credit as you can, because what you are doing is huge. Huge, huge healing work.

Good and healing thoughts to you.

    Kate

Thanks so much for your support, Kate. I’ve been giving myself heck for years for not just getting on with this, but I’m finding out why I didn’t before now, which is good.
